Exposition Jacqueline Clarisse at Hotel L’Arena in Frejus
Jacqueline Clarisse has been passionate about drawing and animals since childhood. She is fascinated by the figurative, she seeks to create animal paintings that represent reality but with greater depth and sensitivity than a photo could. The pastel technique suits her desire to create realistic paintings and drawings. Her favourite subjects are dogs, horses and wild animals. She always paints what she likes. She has the desire to pay homage to the beauty of nature and animals. For each subject, her goal is to represent the details, the texture, and very important the look, reflecting the personality of the animal. She works full time and is registered at the Maison des Artistes. She exhibits her work in France, England and in the Melrose Gallery in Scotland. She is a member of the Association of Animal Artists in England. In 2016, she was awarded the “Highly Commended” prize for her pencil drawing of a greyhound greyhound at the annual Association of Animal Artists animal art competition. In 2011, his painting of a brown bear cub is a finalist in the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year International Wildlife Painting Competition. Our pets have a great place in our hearts. She makes portraits from good quality photos.
